Treasure in the Room: Interim Exhibition in the Collegiate Church

As part of the redevelopment of Stiftsberg, the two historic treasure chambers are currently undergoing a thorough refurbishment. The cathedral treasure has therefore been temporarily relocated – but only a few steps away.
Five selected, outstanding pieces from the cathedral treasury are the focus of the interim exhibition "Treasure in Space". Not far from the usual treasure chambers, they enter into a new dialogue with the space: free, concentrated and in an atmosphere that reveals their character in a completely different way.
At the same time, the exhibition offers exciting insights into current research: new findings on the original appearance of the treasure chambers and the church interior in the 12th century are revealed. The restored medieval stucco of the former choir screen also gives an idea of how colourful and lively the room once was.
